Wow, This Drink is Strong

This Holiday you hopefully kept your cool with family members, now it’s time for New Year’s Eve, and the best way to spend it is to party with friends!  Make sure you have safe transportation arranged or are partying at a place you know you can get a cab.  Enjoy this strong and classic drink responsibly this New Year’s Eve.  Here is the strongest, and therefore usually more cost effective way of catching that party glow quicker.  This classic is one that you find on bar counters all across the United States, here is the strongest drink, and I am completely serious, ask any bartender or frat boy.

The strongest drink you can order at any bar is a Long Island Ice Tea.  trust me, made with rum, gin, tequila, vodka, and triple sec, this drink only has a splash of sweet and sour mixer, as it is almost entirely alcohol.  The combination of spirits seems to be what makes this classic especially potent.  That and the fact that any bartender who gets that order knows that the person placing it is serious, and they will usually make any Long Island Ice Tea good.  If you’re making them at home do equal parts of the big spirits and as much mixer as you need, but let’s face it, if you’re drinking this you don’t really care how it tastes, do you?  They say it taste’s like Iced Tea, and the best bartenders will be able to pick up all five bottles to pour at once.  Have fun, and remember to imbibe responsibly this New Year’s Eve!
