OK so you’ve heard too much about the year 2012 in the media and you still have no complete understanding of what it means. Don’t worry neither do I. With that being said let’s have a look at the most frightening belief, the belief that has people frightened to death. That belief is of the end of the world.

So where did this belief initially come from? You may have heard talk about the Mayan calendar lately and how it ends either on December 21 or December 23 2012. Some really believe that this means the world is coming to an end. I wouldn’t get so scared yet, because nothing that has been shown is concrete. Sure the media will hype it up and make it as convincing a story as possible, because that is their job. There is something that they haven’t been telling the world. That is a story of a new beginning for the human race.

What can be the opposite of the end of the world but a world that has been given new life. Some theories suggest that we go through a spiritual transformation and lead ourselves into better times. Seems like that would be a very monumental change that could possibly indicate the beginning of a new calendar. The end of an era perhaps.

I will wait and see what happens and that is who I am by nature. I have no reason to panic, the fact is that I have no strong beliefs in either direction. I am interested in the phenomenon and interested in hearing from all of you. I don’t claim to be an expert, just did a little research.
