2029 Asteroid
An asteroid is expected to pass by Earth in 2029, and in 2036. Things may not be looking so well.
According to Nasa, a major asteroid hits Earth around every 26,000 years because a mystery sun that we cannot see moves closer to Earth on its orbit, sending comets and meteors into our Solar System. That time accordingly is to come in 2036. According to Nasa, an odd star is pushing meteors towards us, sooner than we expected. In 2029 a asteroid named “Apophus” is to get extremely close to Earth. If it enters the gravitational keyhole, which is only 300 meters wide. If it does in fact, hit this keyhole the asteroid will leave and return to Earth, to crash in Florida in the year 2036. The asteroid, is confirmed to be apocalyptic, if all else fails. Two methods are being concurred to stop this “apocalypse”. The first method is to simply launch a missle into space, destroying the asteroid, but scientists are afraid of the rubble that would crash into Earth, still being fatal if it fails. Another method is that if Nasa can create a device to push the asteroid out of Earths orbit, leaving us with no fatalaties, if it works. This asteroid is alot bigger than any Bruce Willis sized movie. It would take an atomic bomb to destroy. Luckily for us, the chances of it hitting Earth are one in two-hundred and fifty thousand.
