A Birthday for the Unborn

I have been thinking how can we make a difference in the lives of our children and teach them the truth about what abortion is.  One of the things we often forget is to teach our children why is something wrong and not just tell them that it is wrong.

Each year the day after mothers day, we will have a birthday cake baked or purchased at a store that says happy birthday and a line under that with no name on it to indicate that the child was never able to celebrate his or her birthday.  Take that night to talk to your children about abortion.  Please use wisdom in how much you share.  Consider the age of your children.  The purpose of this is to educate them that life is something precious give to us by our creator.

If you are someone who has had an abortion, please know that this is not to make you feel guilty.  No matter what you are going through. God will forgive you.  He loves you.

This is simply to teach people about the importance of honoring life.  This can become a great tradition to help families teach their children about the value of the life of the unborn child.
