A Call for Sustainable Development
The old and the finished diseases like TB are resurgent and the new ones such as HIV-AIDS are emergent.
The social issues in developing the corporate strategy are gaining a lot of importance of late. Most opinions come from realm of marketing strategy, efficient distribution of wealth but they have ignored the strategic end points in reviewing these statuses. The ultimate aim of any industry and marketing strategy is to meet the individual needs, to support human life cycle and so on. A variety of competitive thoughts can be emerged arising out of growth and technological progress. The foundation of the growth is inevitable dependence on more systematic, large scale and long term shaping of strategy.
Sometimes threat to the contributor’s natural and social life cycle dependence on natural growth and the climatic conditions of various parameters and the implication related to it. Carbon dioxide is increasing, acidifying rivers and lakes, increase of nitrogen in water, ozone depletion increasing the ultra violet radiation affecting the entire ecosystem to the cause of concern of people. Forest is rapidly decreasing, wetlands are vanishing, and coral reefs are dying due to invasion of modern industrial out look and increase in population their demands.
Human population and their resource consumption are rapidly eating our planet and most of the masters of strategy is being upside down and going into vain. It raises conflict within and across generations and the scarcity of natural resources making it fuel more and more. Population pressure and its ace retinoic implications making the waves for more and more cross border migration. Rural and urban migration, the entire atmosphere is being mutilated slowly. The old and the finished diseases like TB are resurgent and the new ones such as HIV-AIDS are emergent. This is very tyrant situation and has to be handling in speed otherwise can be an epidemic. One anthropologist says we are going to the age where the dinosaurs will kill dinosaurs’ as ours population is on the rise and so as the demand and the sustenance and the conflict. It is a very alarming situation.
Then more and more infants dies due to poverty and bad health care and sanitation, more and more students drop outs from primary and secondary levels, less shelter option, less electricity and so on thus the problem is on the rise.
Why I am talking all about this, as these miseries translates into social disintegration and malfunction. Forbes magazine calculates the combine wealth of 225 richest people is equal to combine annual income of poorest one half of humanity. So, while making the marketing strategy all these permutations and combinations needs to be remembered and collected keeping in mind the impact on the society. Such instability affects the entire investment environment. Lack of investment has the spiraling effect on the society making it more and more downtrodden and decadence of the environment. Business takes place within these environment and is bound to be affected with it. World commission on environmental and development quotes; “that which meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”
In such while mastering strategy in any business environment will have to look beyond yours organization and make some ecologically and socially sustainable strategy making.
