A Message for Westboro Church and All Like Them

Abigail Phelps made some outrageous statements as they went to protest at Arlington Cemetery on Memorial Day that I feel is in direct contrast to what God is teaching today in the New Testament and this is what creates Hatred.

Abigail Phelps stated a self proclaimed “Imperial Wizard” of a small KKK had “no moral authority on anything” and went on to say she and her band were there to tell people that “they should not ‘idolize’ the dead especially those who died for an ‘unrighteous cause.’”

Number one Christians or at least true Christians were not placed on this earth to pass judgment on one another for God says in Ephesians 6:10-12; “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” In Matthew 22:33-40 God tells us; “But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, Master which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, ‘Thou shalt love the Lord Thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, ‘Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.’ On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.”  You can find this in most any King James Bible but this is as it is written in the King James Study Bible copywriten 1988.

There is a difference between paying respect to the dead and “idolizing” the dead as you so ineloquently put it, Abigail Phelps. As for your misstatement of “those who died for an unrighteous cause,” I must wonder if you and some of your band of merry hellions may have been among those standing at the airports spitting on the Warriors as they returned home from Vietnam.

It doesn’t matter because I rebuke your evil spirits you carry with you in order to spread more hate and discontent among the American people. The fact that you choose to deliberately emotionally injure those that are hurting from their losses already denotes you as not what you proclaim yourselves to be.
