What do refugees represent to us? How do we see them? Do we see them as bogus, thieves’, tramps and we think that they are part of the “lower class of society”? The truth is not so dramatic; they are common people, just like you and me. What’s the difference?

The difference is that these people have seen their love one die in front of them, they may have fled from a war torn country,where the only things which are found are hate ,fear and corpses. They may have heard the ravens cries as they feast on the dead and the gruesome sound of them tearing flesh apart. They are people who have seen death, lived in fear and to them tomorrow is filled with uncertainty. But the truth is no .yes, simple as that, no. they are thrown out, rejected and shunted for one reasons politics. some rule that someone made up for the ‘common good’.

Why should we help refugees? simple,they are fellow human beings and creations of God. How can we help them? There are many organizations who fight for the rights for refugees. The unhcr is just one of the many organization which helps refugees. we can help in many ways, donating money and so on and so forth. It’s not a matter of whether we should help them
