Abandoned & Murdered Babies & Children
by The murder rate of infants and children is rapidly increasing. Over 600 little souls are taken each year. We need to find out what we can do to help.
I was watching this show on real tv last night about infants that are abandoned at birth. I have to say it was just about the sadest thing that I have ever seen. Just to know what links people will go to, I have to say it brought tears to my eyes. What ever happened to unconditional love for a child. It is sickening what this world is coming to.
One story included a mother who hid her pregnancy, gave birth at a hotel, put her baby in the floorboard of her car and went to work leaving her newborn in the car to die. She then discarded him/her in a trash bag and put him/her in the dumpster.
Another incident involved a young girl in college, who gave birth in her dorm and threw her baby out in the trash, luckily she was found by a fellow student and fortunately did not suffer from hypothermia. However, here is the crazy part, the mother did not go to jail and she was able to get her daughter that she almost killed back. I know that people make mistakes but come on, there are some mistakes you are not allowed to make and that, I believe is one of them.
The last one was about a mother who gave birth in a bathroom and drowned her newborn son.
I have to say this just sickens me so much. I decided to do some research on the subject and learned that over 600 babies a year are abandoned and the number is growing. Texas came up with a new law in 1999 allowing mothers to bring their new babies to a safe haven like a police station, fire station, or hospitals, and leave them there without any questions asked. This was done in hopes to decrease the number of infant deaths and I think that it is working.
I would really like to hear opinions on this issue. Do you agree with the new law? or do you think that there could be better measures to take?
Not only are infants murdered but the death rate of children is increasing as well, most of these little ones are murdered by non other then the ones who are suppose to love them. The video below is very extreme.
Below are my beautiful babies and I love them with all my heart. As a mother I could never imagine doing anything to hurt them. I just do not see how people can be so cold. As a parent we are suppose to protect our children.
I just do not understand why children and babies who are the most vunerable and innocent people alive could be so bruteally treated and murdered. I just read your article. I believe that parents that do the things you mention in your article should be given life in prison without parole. It amazes me how heartless some people are. They discard these little jewels like taking out the trash. Excellent article, Samantha5. Discarding the young is a unforgivable crime. This is really as heartbreaking as anyone can get.

There are no words to describe this kind of heart break. The human race is failing quickly,we have all turned away from these things,closed our eyes, hearts, minds & souls,so that we become blind to truth. It is far easier to look another way then to take responsiblity ( Yes, I am my brothers keeper.) and extend a helping hand, because we are selfish, always in a hurry and never time to help others.We are searching for happiness and full fillment, yet it is always right here waiting for us, what is more greater than the satisfaction of overwhelming happiness and great joy that fills our eyes with cheerful tears when we reach out and help someone in need, we all forgot that , this is why God has created us.Why have we forgot, because people refuse to believe God is real and I speak of Christ Jesus. And what may be even sadder is that children are sent as gifts from god and sons are rewards. Their was a woman in the bible that was unloved by everyone and God had seen, so he gave her many, many children so that she would be loved all her days. We are blind, and if anyone doubts God is real, then ask yourself, why in the time of terror, great need, desperation or any situtation to great for us to handle we cry out for his help.It is not his fault that we may not get our prayers answered, perphaps it’s because it’s not what he has planned for us so, or maybe we don’t hear him speaking to us, because we do not stay quite long enough to hear him nor patient enough to wait for him to answer. He is always taking to us but one day, he to will to hear us anymore.
