Abortion: Taking a Stand
This is one mans opinion on a subject that is at best ,controversial and a subject that I believe will always needs to be spoken about .just because you don’t subscribe to another human beings beliefs, doesn’t mean you have the right to denounce them it just means you don’t agree.with that said I would like to give credit to Drew Diligence for his overwhelming contribution to this piece.

The biggest cause of abortion is poverty. Poverty is an oppressive process whereby the supposed freedoms inherent in our culture become unavailable to those who do not have enough money, and who therefore struggle to live a meaningful life. The uncaring of you may say that in this country it is their choice to be poor; they have the same freedoms and abilities the rest of society enjoys. However, I would point out that being born into poverty is not a choice, and the regressive nature and cultural aesthetic of poverty ensures that your ability to avail yourself of the choices so blithely put forward as a reaction to the plight of the poor are limited, in some circumstances nonexistent.
Yet history is replete with the stories of individuals who have risen above their mean birthright and soared high. These people give insight to the almost limitless ability of the human spirit to prevail over all circumstance. However I would argue that for every eagle that soars, a million other souls do not, and that the light reflected from those that soar so close to the sun blinds us to the reality that the plight of those who live under a an eclipsed sun suffer great disadvantage.

Poverty is a miserable disease that infects the soul of those afflicted. It leads to ignorance, social upheaval, and a distortion of perception. No one can blame those who are poor, especially when they are bounded by the edifice of wealth, that sink into a pool of hopelessness. Hopelessness breeds depression, and desperation. These conditions complicated by a lack of sexual education and a lack of readily available birth control gives rise to unwanted pregnancy. And how do hopeless people, depressed and desperate deal with the reality of unwanted pregnancy. Abortion.
Abortion is simply another devastating outcome of poverty, as is disease, drug and alcohol dependence, violence, spousal abuse, child abuse, and social devolution. Whilst abortion clinics are bombed, abortive mothers hounded, and law reform to further limit the choices of the poor are energetically entertained, the actual causes of poverty remain unprevailed upon.

This is basically a statement made in a heated thread in a writers forum that expressed one persons opinion ,i felt that this person made important statements and put a lot out there for people to think about therefore i wanted to spread his thoughts a little further than that thread or forum .although many will not agree with him i believe he lakes very god points and does it in a realistic and intelligent way .

Good to take this on. I think it all depends on the individual situation and persons involved, nobody else really has a say or should for that matter.
