Abuse: Scars That Takes Time to Heal
Verbal, Emotional, Psychological, Mental, and Physical Abuse.

Verbal abuse does not leave bruises. It will be cruel and scars your soul.

The one being abuse won’t talk about it, some do not even recognize that they are being verbally abused.

Since they want to believe the best of their lovers, they overlook obvious verbal abuse.

Abuse…Change your self-esteem. You sinks lower and lower.
-
They start feeling worthless, incompetent, unlovable.
-
You feel that is your fault.
-
It’s okay . . . NO! Is not! Don’t find excuses.
-
You will find excuses why you were abuse.



Are you in a verbally abusive relationship?

Start by acknowledging the abuse. This is not an easy thing to do, especially as your self-esteem is low and weak.

Get Outside help it might be necessary because family, friends, and relatives are often under the spell of your Abuser “The Charmer”. They will say “How can that be he or she is so NICE”
-
Don’t stay long if you notices you are being abuse in the relationship, It will escalates to physical abuse.

I addressed this very thing in a poem of mine called “Two Faces”, which tries to expose the hypocrisy of the verbal/emotional abuser.

I know this all too well. I’m sorry but for me, although it is very true, this article hurt very much. I only managed to read half the bullet-points.
But to end on a good note, it is a very true write. You should publish it on the NAPAC website and other domestic violence sites.
