Afghanistan and Foreign Forces Killed 50 to 60 Taliban Attackers

Afghanistan army and NATO-led foreign forces on Tuesday evening killed 50 to 60 Taliban fighters who attacked the base of Paktika province in eastern Afghanistan near the Pakistani border, on Wednesday announced the provincial government spokesman.
NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) confirmed that there was an attack on their base Paktika province Barmalas district.
A large group of rebels attacked ISAF base with guns and hand grenades. ISAF’s counter-attack went on, causing the rebels ‘major’ living power losses, said ISAF spokesman.
In the battle was destroyed two buildings, which are used by insurgents. ISAF’s counter-attack was also used for aviation.
There are no reports that the battle would have been killed or civilian casualties.
