Against or For Cloning?
This is still debated among scientists.
Is human cloning good or bad? Now, what’s cloning? Cloning is asexual reproduction. As long it is a living thing, cloning would work. D.N.A is transferred to another organism and when it looks like the “original” living thing. That’s a clone. Now, why do some people argue that cloning is dangerous? Well, there might be the fact about the experiment going wrong, lose the diversity of genes, diseases; if all humans are all identical, which means a malady can and will wipe out the human kind, and cloning more humans will cause more stress and some people will take that advantage to do something dangerous. The police will have a really hard time if there were identical humans to figure out who committed the crime, but in my opinion, I think that cloning humans and organisms is helpful. Cloning embryos to those women who are infertile (unable to neither develop nor fertilize an egg). Cloning organs provide transplantation to those who needs it. Cloning stem cells are helpful for treating variety of diseases and injuries. Cloning humans will allow our species to prevent from extinction; therefore, cloning is helpful to humans.
What is infertility? Infertility is when women are unable to have pregnancy and men have low sperm quality. Infertility has been a problem for a long time, but scientists are trying hard to help those who want to have a baby. “For the women who are infertile, doctors implants the cloned embryos into their bodies. This can eliminate the mental and physical pains among the infertile couples. Guys and lesbians can have their own babies with the techniques of cloning. For the lesbians, one of them can provide the egg, and the other can provide the genes. For guys, they can do it as the same way; just they need to find a surrogate (substitute) mother.” IVF (in vitro fertilization) is also a major treatment in infertility. Hence cloning may provide an effective solution to infertility.
What happens if you damaged your liver and you are having an internal bleeding? NO one can donate a liver for you. That is when cloning comes in to play. Cloning organs is a big part for saving lives, but it is better if the scientists clone animals instead of humans. Here is an example. “The scientists from Japan had cloned a pig called Xena and used its organs for transplant in humans. Cloning of pigs is useful in which they can alleviate the shortage of human organs available for transplantation. For example, pig livers can be transplant to a patient which suffers from liver failure, but there is no human liver available. In this case, the pig liver can be transplanted to the patient temporarily until he can find a suitable human liver.” If you have cancer, cloning organs can be also as helpful. Therefore, cloning organs for transplantation is helpful for those who have cancer or organ problems.
