Ahmadinejad: 11 Was Exploited as The Holocaust to Justify U.s. Presence in The Region
by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Saturday accused the United States as "exploits" of 11 September 2001 attacks to justify their presence in the region, opening a conference on terrorism internatioanle hosted by Tehran, AFP.
At this meeting, Iran , Afghanistan and Pakistan have pledged to cooperate to fight “terrorism, extremism and to reject foreign intervention.”Ahmadinejad made a parallel with “exploiting the Holocaust” to justify Israel’s defense in this conference attended by presidents Afghan Hamid Karzai, Pakistani Assif Ali Zardari and Jalal Talabani of Iraq.

“The way the 11 was discussed and exploited is much like what happened in the Holocaust,” said Iranian President, in a speech transmitted by state television.Ahmadinejad has several times questioned in recent years, the origin of the September 11 attacks and the Holocaust, which he described as “a big lie ‘and a” myth.
