Animal Abuse
What animal abuse is, how it can be stopped, and other ways you can help or get information about animals.
Millions of animals are abused every single day, and not enough people are doing anything about it. If you witness animal abuse there is more than one approach you can go about to resolve the situation. For one, you can get a friend or family member to help you rescue the animal, another thing you can do is call the police. Animal abuse is against the law and the animals need more people to care and help them out. Without people that care in the world, these animals are helpless to the beatings and neglect that they experience every day. Animals need attention, love, and a fitting environment for them to live. So if you witness animal abuse, I hope you have the heart to help them out. Dogs and cats are the main animals that get abused. Others include bulls and chickens (fights to the death),and monkeys, rabbits, chickens, dogs, cats, and rats/ mice (animal testing).
In my book, animal abusers are just s sick and twisted as child molesters or murderers. I believe that anyone that can be okay with beating a defenseless animal, deserves to be thrown in jail. This has happened before. In fact, many of the animals that are abused, have died. Isn’t that sad? Not to mention, that if an animal does live through mistreatment, they are never the same. Some of them will run away from you, and others will be very cruel and dangerous. So it is very important that when approaching an animal of abuse, you be very careful.
There are also many ways in which animals are abused. A few of these ways are dog/cock fights, animal testing, chaining them, neglecting them, starving them, and many more.
On a more positive note, there are many organizations that you can join to help, or even be notified about new information on animals. The Humane Society is one of these organizations, that I personally take part in. You have the choice to make donations, and help animals that don’t have homes, or to get a newsletter through your email. These newsletters give you information on new laws, stories, and much more.
