Animal Abuse Laws

         I believe that animals should not be considered humans when it comes to punishing the person who hurt them by law.  The reasons I believe this are that humans are more important than animals, you would have to let animals be free, and victim will usually not have as much proof against him.  Some people will still say protect animals but really should we really I don’t think we should.   Calling animals such as donkeys that are somewhat smart and according to some people have a great sense of humor humans is like calling us a goat but we all know we are not goats.  It might slow down animal abuse but chances are it won’t because people will still want entertainment from animal abuse they will still hold meetings to watch a cock fight or a dog fight.

        Humans since the dawn of age have ruled the world and no other animal has.  If gorillas ruled the world it would be like planet of the apes but we would never take control.  Since humans adapt and learn quickly we know how to use technology making it impossible for animals of any sort to catch up.  One thing also is humans have more compassion then instinct.  A human mother will give her life for her child but a mother dog would know that she has more chances of living so she would save herself this fact has been pr oven multiple times.  Some people say that there dog is a member of the family.  They would cry if they would lose their dog but if they lost their mom, dad, brother, or sister they would cry even more.  Some people think that losing a pet is as bad as losing a family member but it is not no matter what you think.  Comforting someone that lost a family member is hard they might not get over it for years but when they lose a pet they might get over it in a week.

        You would have to let all of the other animals that people have as pets be free.  Most people think that there dog and cat love them and would never leave but have they ever given them the chance.  If animal abuse laws got that for it would end up making everyone have to set their pet free because they would be tried for keeping the dog against its will also known as keeping it hostage which is exactly what people that do not like animals would charge everyone with.  Making it so that there is no point in the laws in the first place this could set their world into a dismal fall.  Fewer animals would get rabies shots and more animals would attack humans and some would die just because they don’t know how to fend for themselves.  We can all agree that this would be horrible and it would all be because of some animal abuse law.
