Animal Testing
Just think, if you were an animal, being tested on, and dying because of it.
Animal testing is bad. 50% of animals who get tested on die 2 weeks later.
Well, first think of it this way, animals are like people, therefore they should be treated equally. Sure, you can have a animal as a pet, but to experiment on it! It’s horrible! Put yourself in a bunnies shoes. Picture this, you’re getting carried into a lab not knowing what’s going on, they put you in a cage with bars. Animals surround you in other cages. You see a helpless puppy getting dragged out of the lab, and you wonder, will that happen to you? All of a sudden the cage is open, and you think you’re free, but two hands grasp you and you’re carried into another lab, this one with no cages. They set you on a table and test on you. You feel sick, and then they carry you back to the other lab with the cages. Two weeks later you’re dead.
Here’s a true story about a cat named Hobbes.
Hobbes the cat has been tested on all his life. He’s barely living. One more test could kill him. They force shampoo down his throat to see what it does to his organs. What if you were Hobbes? Living in misery.
I don’t understand why people test on animals. I mean, couldn’t it so possibly happen that animals get different effects on humans? So if it works on animals, will it work on humans? I doubt it. Also, it costs more money to keep buying animals, and it practically is a waste! Here is a list of companies that test on animals.
