Arab-israeli Conflict
My personal opinion about Arab-Israeli Conflict.
The Conflict in Israel and the occupied territories is relatively new. The Arabs and Jews had coexisted peacefully for 1400 years in the area that is Palestine and even fought against the common enemy of the Crusaders in the 12-14th centuries. In the 19th century the Zionist movement was started with headquarters in London for the foundation of a Jewish home state. This Zionist movement was fairly innocent and certainly not violent and intended to found a state of Israel peacefully through lobbying of the governments in power. Over the years however the Zionist movement got more militant with the failure of peaceful means of producing the state of Israel. In particular United States Zionists wanted to use force to create the state of Israel. When Palestine went from Turkish to British control in the interwar years one third of the British Army was stationed in Palestine trying to keep peace between Arabs and militant Zionists. Of course all of the propaganda of the Nazis under Adolph Hitler was almost completely false. However after the end of WW2 and the discovery of the Holocaust gave the Jews of the world and the Zionists the sympathy of the rest of the world leaders especially that of the United States which had the worlds largest Jewish population after the Second World War. The USA indirectly supported the foundation of a Jewish state in 1948 because of political lobbying by the Zionist movement in the United States and of course the United States being “the best democracy money can buy”. In the beginning a force of 500,000 Jews quite heavily armed carried out a campaign of what would today be called ethnic cleansing and the forceful removal of the Arab Palestinian population with threats of violence, although there were not many cases of the violence actually being carried out, Israeli history books have been re-written to tell the story of how Jewish forces pleaded with the Arabs to stay and they ran away and became refugees out of anti-Semitism and dislike of living with Jewish neighbors.
USA was one of the first nations to recognize the state of Israel and was followed by most of the rest of the world. Because this was the cold war most of the Arab world started to gravitate towards the USSR. In the first war against Israel the four neighboring Arab nations and Iraq tried to defeat the state of Israel and all were roundly defeated. Thus demonstrating the classical flaw in all Arab armed forces that persist right up to this day, complete lack of training in the practice of warfare. The state of Israel was extremely well equipped and well trained in respect to their armed forces. , a perfect example of quality over quantity. In the second Arab/Israeli war in 1973 Israel decided to occupy territory of four of its neighbors. Neighbors to improve its strategic position. In the years since then the population of the occupied territories of the former Jordan and Egypt have lived under total tyranny. I have difficulty writing this essay for an essay in nature should be written objectively. I will try to do so. After the territories of the neighboring nations was occupied American Jewish groups started a policy with the help of the government of Israel of setting up settlements on Arab land. Recently these settlements have also been supported by Christian Fundamentalists in the United States. This practice continues to this day and is clearly illegal. Israeli soldiers in the occupied territories are literally baby killers and child killing sadists. However since Israel is now a nuclear armed state nether side can ever win as long as Israel is trying to suppress opposition. Basically, for some reason I am at a loss for words in talking about the situation in the area that was Palestine. I feel that I sympathize with the Palestinians under Israeli occupation because I feel a kind of empathy. I am Irish and Ireland lived under British occupation for 800 years. In Israel Irish citizens have been killed protesting against Jewish occupation. If Ireland was more powerful I would support my country supporting the liberation movements in the occupied territories. Sorry for the brevity of this essay.

This article includes some libelous claims against Israel.
“In the beginning a force of 500,000 Jews quite heavily armed carried out a campaign of what would today be called ethnic cleansing and the forceful removal of the Arab Palestinian population with threats of violence, although there were not many cases of the violence actually being carried out, Israeli history books have been re-written to tell the story of how Jewish forces pleaded with the Arabs to stay and they ran away and became refugees out of anti-Semitism and dislike of living with Jewish neighbors.”
Actually, to the contrary, thanks to the power of the Israeli left, Israeli textbooks has adopted Arab propaganda as fact. But Israel didn’t try to ethnically cleanse the land of Arabs. There were many cases where Arab states and the Arab leadership tried to encourage the Arabs to leave. There were cases where the Jews tried to encourage the Arabs to stay. The Arab refugee problem was caused by the Arab leadership and Arab states and their refusal to coexist with Israel. During the 1948 war, the Arabs were stronger than Israel.

You have difficulty writing this article with objectivity? You’re not writing it with objectivity. Your dates are wrong. You claim that Israel got the West Bank and Gaza from the second Arab-Israeli war in 1973. First off, it was 1967, not 1973. Second off, the 1967 war was the third Arab-Israeli war. There was still the 1956 Suez war between Egypt vs. Israel, Britain and France. The 1973 war was the Yom Kippur war. It was the fourth Arab-Israeli war.
What’s more serious than your errors on dates and events is your slanderous lies on Israel. When the Arab population lived under the Israeli “occupation”, that was the only time they got any chance of freedom. In fact, Palestinian national identity among residents [excluding the Arab refugees] in the West Bank and Gaza began when Israel ruled the territories. In fact, before Israel got the territories, no one called for them to be part of any Palestinian state. When Arab terror groups talked about “liberating” Palestine, they meant Israel, not the West Bank or Gaza. That changed after 1967, when Arab terror groups included the West Bank and Gaza as well as Israel. Article 24 of the 1964 PLO charter states that they have no claim to either the WB or GS. Actually, Israeli “occupation” was when the only time Arab residents there got a taste of freedom. Plus, they had the fourth fastest growing economy and their population grew. It’s not Israel that suppresses the opposition. It’s the Palestinian Authority and Hamas that suppresses the opposition. Both of them are the ones who really are imposing tyranny. That’s what Israel’s predecessors Jordan and Egypt did as well when they controlled the territories. Israeli settlements aren’t illegal either. That’s also a myth. Contrary to your column, Israeli soldiers are not “baby killers” or “sadists”. In fact, Israeli soldiers are trained not to kill civilians. The real “baby killers” and “sadists” are the Palestinian suicide bombers and other Palestinian terrorists, as well as the vile Islamo-Fascist jihadists. The cause of the conflict is the refusal to recognize Israel’s right to exist, not Israel “suppressing” the opposition, something Israel doesn’t do by the way. Palestinians even have access to Israeli courts when they have a grievance against Israel, with the courts sometimes ruling in favor of the Palestinian plaintiffs. You refer to the residents of the WB and GS as residents of Jordan and Egypt even though those two countries held them illegally since they won them from a genocidal war of aggression against Israel. Israel has at least just as legal claims as the Palestinians since she won them from a war of self-defense, has legal claims, security-related claims and even historical claims. For Israel giving them back turns the territories into a terror base. You’ve been fooled by the anti-Israel propaganda machine. It’s this tainted analysis that’s part of the problem, not the solution. Do you not have empathy for the innocent people in Sderot who have to worry when a rocket attack will come or for the victims of the suicide bombings? How about you have empathy for the Palestinians because their leadership chooses war and terror instead of peace, something that’ll benefit both Israelis and Palestinians alike? Get your dates right and events right. And more importantly, stop believing the Pallywood and Jihadist propaganda on Israel.
