Armed Forces in The Middle East

I am sick of people asking why our armed forces are in Iraq and Afghanistan because the answer is simple. It is in the interests of our leaders to be there. They are there because there is something in the area that could damage our economy and way of life if the price of it was cranked up. Yes you guessed it crude oil. It is in the nation’s interests that the price of crude oil doesn’t rise too high or our comfortable life styles will be in jeopardy.

What also annoys me is when people complain about our soldiers being there as if they actually have a choice. I am going to put this as simply as I can. THEY HAVE NO CHOICE IN THE MATTER WHAT-SO-EVER. They are told they are going and even if they don’t like it they have to go.

So I say lets back our troops out there even if we don’t like why they are there. We should back our men and women on the front line because they are dying so we can live our lives the way we are used to. If we don’t back them 100% then they are dying in vain and their lives have been lost for a cause that doesn’t exist. So let us back our troops and wish them home safely, and leave the politics to the people who claim they can do it.
