Balloon Boy Hoax

The balloon boy hoax.

Richard heene was sentenced to 90 days in jail and 20 for his wife for purposely creating probobly the most popular but cruel hoax of the year, aka the balloon boy. The reason they were caught? Sheer stupidity. Richard said they found him in a box upstairs taking a nap and when the boy was asked by his father on television why he did it the boy said that he said it was for the show. Later the father was asked about it and he held back tears as he appologized but probobly because he was barred from making any money off of the hoax. The search cost as much as 50,000 dollars and they are trying to recover the wasted money. How pathetic and irresponsible can some parents be? I mean sierously, it’s bad enough that they scare the crap out of everyone about a little boy going missing in a balloon that eventually got as high as 7,000 feet in the air. But they did it simply to get money from it and some fame. It’s sickening really to see what the world is coming to, why can’t people do it the old way and dress up as big foot and go backpacking through the woods? Well in the end i guess the parents did get some fame and maybe even some money so i say congratulations mr. and mrs. heene you are officially the worst parents of the year.
