Banning Smoking in Springfield,mo/alcohol in Movie Theaters
Banning Smoking/Alcohol in Theaters.
I understand there are lots of people that smoke and some that don’t I however do not smoke but i know alot of people that do, banning smoking on school grounds is one thing but in all businesses in Springfield,MO where i live is kinda crazy I think if the business is a Adult Business and no kids go in there then they should be opt out but im not even sure if they are effected at all anyways. At restaurants they should have a room for smoking like put a wall up and let the smokers go in there even if they got a non smoking table either that or go outside. Also another thing that we will have the chance to vote on in April is banning alcohol at Movie Theaters that are family friendly I think doing all you can to make sure people are not drinking underage maybe walk the aisles in the movie theater to make sure that their isn’t anyone underage drinking and maybe giving a drink minimum at the movies would be a good idea. In bigger cities they make money off saling alcohol at the venues so why take something away that generates income?I think all of them should have a choice for you to buy alcohol what is funner then watching a movie drunk? Most of us don’t really watch movies when we are drunk but hey if that gets people in the door then why not you know. But hopefully we have a good turn out on voting against these measures if someone writes a bill to regulate where people can smoke in restaurants that’s fine with me i understand some kids and parents don’t want their kids to be around that so maybe it should be up to the restaurant to maybe sit something up for those who don’t want to breath in cigarette smoke. If all the restaurants can’t afford to build a whole wall to use as a smoking area then there is a thing that looks like a ashtray that has a cover over the top and side to keep the cigarette smoke from going far from where you are sitting so that may be a better cheaper way to go im not sure what they are called but i have seen them and for any other cities wanting to ban smoking at all businesses in a certain town look at what other options you have before putting such measures on a ballot again.
