Bullying – Should It be a Crime?
British goverments are currently depending on making bullying a crime to which you can be sent to the police.
British governments are currently depending on making bullying a crime, to which you might be given an asbo, cautioned or perhaps even locked up by the police. Currently (December 2009) there are no full proposals on what will happen but many people are voting yes to this debate and in 2010/11 it may become a crime to which you can commit and will become a serious offense. Still many debate against this decision as it many say it should be the school(s) decision to deal with this and the bully(s). This hopefully will not affect the discrimination law and racism prodecure. This law will also include the online bullying problem due to lots of children bullying through email, text messages, websites and phone calls.

I have been a victim of bullying for several years, and I think that making it a crime is a good idea, but then in school, people bully for popularity, and i think that they should leave it to the schools decision
