Can Increased Production Remove Poverty?

All change starts from somewhere.

To begin with, I dont see the connection between increased productivity, growth, outsourcing and depletion in poverty in any country for that matter. I mean an illiterate politicians may want you to believe that but it would be very naive to even explore this economic connection. Power and economy has always been fueled by the top 10 percent of every strata of people.

The amount of money your country makes has very little effect on the plight of the people, poor or otherwise who do not comprise of the top 10% of the economic bandwidth. before we even begin to reanalyse the current state of poor and needy in third world countries, we need to ask that has even people from a so called far better off middle class really benefited from this economic surge? and if yes then what is the sustainability and how deep is the penetration of such benefits.

I am sure you will not find very positive answers to any of these difficult questions. Policies, attitude and generosity to uplift the most poor and needy of any nation does not require economic super power status. It requires a heart in the right place and a mind that works for others. Pl dont expect miracles from self serving politicians and corporate empires.”
