Can Palin Take Over Clinton?
Political show downs.
This is about the article entitled “Unity Deferred Can You Cross Out ‘Hillary’ and write ‘Sarah’?” written by Kate Zernike from the “Week in Review” section of the New York Times. The race for the white house has been a history-making race. It was the first race where we could have African-American or our first female president of the United States.
The race for presidency has been a fierce one with Barrack Obama and John McCain releasing ads that have belittled each other and gotten nasty. To me it’s no different than any past elections for presidency. The competitors usually say that they are going to have clean competition for the position to be become president of the united states, but it usually as it did in this case the race became ugly as we are seeing right now. The title of the article entitled “Can You Cross Out ‘Hillary’ and Write ‘Sarah’?”” asks a very good question. Can You Cross Out Hillary Rodham Clinton and Write Sarah Palin?” To me the answer to that question is no you cannot replace Hillary Rodham Clinton with Sarah Palin. The reason why is because Hillary Rodham Clinton is very experienced and very widely well known and Sarah Palin has very little experience from what we know so far. The only person that would have any solid knowledge of her would be John McCain. Another important question this article indirectly posed was “Are some Hillary Rodham Clinton supporters going to support Barrack Obama or support John McCain with the memory that Hillary Rodham Clinton dropped out of the race after shattering barriers to become the first female president of the United States? This has to be the issue on every one of the minds Hillary Rodham Clinton female supporters when it comes down to choosing whom they are going to support for presidency. Do they continue supporting Barrack Obama or do they jump shifts and support John McCain?
The race and journey for the White House and presidency has been an interesting so far. We had the possibility of having the first female president and thus, having the first man. We still have the possibility of having the first African-American president. We have already seen, and will continue to see the nasty campaigns from both the democrats and republicans. It is unclear what else we will see between now and Election Day but we will be watching every step of the way.
