Candy and Kids

Will candy help or harm schools.

Candy gives children strong incentive to do their work and turn it in on time. If the other students see one student get a reward for good work they will act better or get a reward. some people ask should teachers give candy as a reward for good work and behavior. I as an individual think they should. Here are some of my reasons.

When somebody does something they have a purpose or incentive for doing so. If you give students candy as a reward it gives them their purpose or incentive to behave and do their work. If they get reward for good work they will do better work and not shirk their work. it can also make students more alert.

Another type of candy that will help students is chewing gum. This can help students concentrate. It is proved to help students get better grades .it also keeps them busy so they won’t tap on they’re desk. Giving chewing gum to students could be very helpful.

Some candy such as chocolate can help you stay healthy. Chocolate contains flavanoid. Flavanoid helps improve cardiovascular health, but some people argue that milk chocolate binds antioxidants so they cannot help you, but if you eat dark chocolate it does not have the milk that binds the antioxidants. People also argue that chocolate contains corn syrup, fats, artificial flavor, and refined sugar, but pure dark chocolate does not contain these ingredients and also helps fight heart disease and cancer.

I believe that candy should be given as a reward. You as parents and students can change your school. You should give your students that incentive to exceed. This incentive is candy. Remember you can make a difference.
