Censorship
Poem.
To be free to think is to be free to make mistakes
All your own
But being passively innocent
Is a luxury freedom cannot afford
To be present in your life
Censorship is the authoritarian’s cure for your incapacity
To avoid having the audacity
To be curious and make choices of your own
Inspired by books, no doubt, their agelessness being fit
To transfer both human error and human wisdom through the ages
Like a left leaning adapting to right winging it
But for weal or woe open information automatically become a foe
To an authoritative mind
Which wines and dines
On your incapacity
To question authority
Each and every time
And authority has the capacity
To nail freedom to a cross
Banning books to censure your thoughts
For it knows what it wants not you to know
Life is the religion
Each life is holy
Nothing else is
Nature gives it integrity unto itself
To live in the sanctity of itself
In life, in liberty, in pursuit of happiness
Life; the body, A harmless liberty; the worship, Happiness; the holy ghost
The holy trinity
