How is the Public influenced by Mass Media?

The Public is a dispersed group of people interested in issue which engaged in discussion with a view to register as collective opinion that may affect the course of action some decision making group of individuals. The Mass Media has a big influence in Public because they have the fastest way and enough time to define what is the problem and ways to resolve it. They can set the mind of the public by being bias on their report or show. The information that they disseminate to people are sometimes manipulated.

Television, Radio and Newspaper is used by media to inform us with fresh news. Some of these are Soco, Imbestigador, Jessica Soho Reports, 24-Oras, Manila Bulletin, DZMM, DZBB and WRR 101.9.

Edsa revolution, Edsa 2 and Edsa 3 are the best example of collective behavior that is given by Sir Gil. The People unite to achieve certain goals. The First 2 revolution succeeded but the last fail because of lack of support from “BIG” people.
