Children Suffering From Child Labour
by Now in some countries we can see child labour. Many children are forced to work whole the day from early morning to dark midnight to earn bread and butter for themself and their family.
They may be beaten up badly and not getting enough food, shelter or even there is no any consideration of their age. They may be kidnapped by somebody from different places or may be sent for work by their own parents or relatives. This may be because of their poverty or their parents may be sick.
Even in some developing countries also have child labor? Children are not send to school and forced to work in factories, carry heavy loads in railway stations and other places and also work in shops and hotels to make food and wash dishes. We can see children selling books, newspapers and periodicals near red lights etc.
Government and people should take strict actions against this cruelty of child labour. Already there is enough law to protect and save children from child labour. But this is not helpful to eliminate child labour. Normally poor children from slums and backward communities are forced to do work for their living. Some charitable organizations do something for eradicate this cruelty, but not enough to avoid it completely.
People must be communicated properly and poor parents must be getting enough help to meet their both ends and also should get awareness to send their children to school than work places. Let us hope that this bad tendency could be stop as soon as possible and we could pray for it. There is a Chinese proverb that “better to light a lamp that curse the darkness”. Yes let us do whatever we could to eliminate this evil.
