CIA and FBI Headquarters Were on The List of Planned Attacks by Al Qaeda

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the mastermind behind the disaster at 11 September, has been planning more attacks.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed planned to attack the Brooklyn Bridge, some buildings in California, the CIA and FBI headquarters, the gas stations in America and the Heathrow Airport in Great Britain, according to WikiLeaks.

At least this is what Mohammed and the other terrorists incarcerated at Guantanamo declared.

In 2001, Mohammed tried to hijack a plane and make it crash on the highest building in California. An year later, he planned to hijack commercial planes and make them crash over the terminals of the most important airports in America. To make it happen, Mohammed asked for the help of another terrorist, ‘Faris’.

The same Faris would help him in a plan to destroy the Brooklyn Bridge by cutting the support cables. Upon learning this information, the New York police immediately sent several teams to oversee the area, but also sent some boats and helicopters that can keep an eye on the water and air. Because of these strict security measures, Al Qaeda later dropped the plan.

Another plan involved an attack on the gas stations, which would help African-American convert to Islam. They had to use bombs which would’ve caused explosions in the places concerned.

Another convict in Guantanamo, Abu Zubaydah, contacted Mohammed in 2002 and decided along with him to send two terrorists, Binyam Ahmed Muhammad and Jose Padilla, to rent two apartments in some of the tallest buildings in Chicago, where – using the heat and gases from the oven – they would produce an explosion powerful enough to demolish buildings.

Mohammed, along with the terrorist Saifullah Paracha, would hide several chemicals and explosives among children and women’s clothing and thus bring them to the United States of America on ships due in port security and low hazard than to be found in the controls.

But the officials have found out about the two’s plans and immediately took new security measures, and – one year later – Parachute was arrested on the territory of Pakistan. The list of potential targets also included the CIA and FBI headquarters, nuclear reactors and U.S. tallest buildings in Washington.

According to the documents published by Wikileaks, Mohammed stated that he is dissatisfied that he failed to hit the White House in the attacks of 11 September, an important symbol of American culture.

Mohammed has also expressed disappointment caused by terrorist Richard Reid, who tried to destroy a plane with a bomb hidden in a shoe. Reid, however, has not heeded Mohammed’s advice to shave his beard before boarding the plane and thus was recognized and captured by authorities.
