“The documents found in his residence demonstrates again how important it was to track bin Laden,” Panetta said.
“From September 11, that the American people expect from us. During this operation crucial, we respect the word,” he added.

U.S. special forces have seized numerous documents from bin Laden’s residence in Abbottabad (Pakistan), after Sunday night’s raid. They are the “most important” catch “documents belonging to a terrorist leader ever made,” said a senior U.S. intelligence official, on condition of anonymity.

These include numerous audio and video recordings, and printed or handwritten documents.
