Cllr Dean Archer Joins Demo Against Veolia

No to Incineration.

Cllr Dean Archer joined Cllrs Kim Langley, Kieran Thorpe, Maureen Cook and Housing Minister Gran Shapps along with hundreds of other Hatfield and Welham Green residents to tell Veolia and Hertfordshire County Council that Hatfield is not the place to build a waste incinerator. Recycling is the future not the burning of rubbish

School children from all over Hatfield and Welham Green also joined in, remember its their future we’re fighting for

Locals gather outside the exhibition to hear speakers Grant Shapps MP, local resident Simon Archer and Cathy Roe. Singing and chanting slogans followed before the masses went into the former Hatfield School building to put accross their reasons for not want the site.
