Coal Fired Power Plant Needed or Threat?

 I was born here in my Town Oton Iloilo Philippines. We experienced brown-out always especially sunday from 8am to 5pm. And the city invested a coal fired plant about 1o billion dollar to address the problem of the city. And some investors expand their bussiness is impossible without enough electricity. Many organizations from local to international opposed this project. Will harm the environment and seek an alternative clean source of energy. I understand their cause but the main purpose is to solve the problem as soon as possible. But it will take time and cost enough money. It will blocked the progress of the city compared to other city. But luckily the plant already operational.
