College Graduation, No Job, and The Student Loans are Due!

The problems faced by recent college graduates reguarding finding employment.

So the day has finally come, you have graduated from college after four long years and you are now ready to find that dream job and start making that money. The problem is there are no jobs out there that want to hire fresh college students with no experience. So you think okay I will start small to get the experience except nobody is willing to hire you to give you the experience! Well where do we go from here? You are now forced to work any typical minimum wage job just to have some form of income and then next thing you know that wonderful piece of mail shows up at your door. STUDENT LOANS! So now you’re working part-time at the grocery store for $7.35 an hour and have a bunch of loans to start paying. I don’t know about you but I cannot afford to pay my student loans on my minimum wage dime. So what can we do?

It is my opinion that nobody should have to pay a cent of their student loans until they find a job in their profession. We went to school for all of those years and spent a disgusting amount of change to do so only to be left with no job. Give us a job and we’ll pay those notes! Lets say that we do begin paying off our loans on our minimum wage jobs. Even if we can make it month to month, that still limits us to our other life goals. For example, how can a person afford to move out and into their own place when all of their money, which is not much, is going to their loans? This problem is slowing down our growing. Next thing you know we’ll all be those 40-year-olds living in our parents basements still paying off our student loans. Give us a break! We are too young to have to worry about debt like this. Why did we poor college kids have to graduate during the recession? How was that for timing! Too bad the economy still is not looking to good. I guess until this picks up, paper or plastic mam?
