by I have compared the Pakistan and USA relations on the basis of Sixteen factors.
1. IDEOLOGY
Islam, capitalism (west) vs communism and Islam vs capitalism (west)
2. NUCLEAR ISSUE
Pakistan was developing nuclear weapons and now Pakistan is a nuclear power
3. FOCAL POINT
Afghanistan was focal point and Pakistan northern borders and adjacent areas along with Afghanistan are focal point
4. LEADERSHIP
Dictatorship was in Pakistan i.e. general zia. Dictatorship was in Pakistan but now democracy
5.ECONOMY
USA gave PAKISTAN economic assistance
6. IMAGE
USA image was better as compared to now .PAKSITAN is now facing critical image problem
7. MEDIA
NOW PAKSITAN HAS more vibrant and dynamic media whereas in afghan jihad media effaced severe censorship in zia regime
8. WORLD POWER DYNAMICS
BIPOLAR WORLD
UNIPOLAR WORLD
9. PAKISTAN’S SECURITY DYNAMICS
Now both western and eastern borders are under threat
10. IDEOLOGY IN PAKISTAN
Name of jihad was exploited and radicalism was on rise .now enlightened moderation is a mantra
11. PAK WILL AS AN USA ALLY
PAK was more willing. in wat situation was with no choice and of compulsion
12. MUSLIM COUNTRIES FACTOR
Muslim countries were also backing pak in anti communist efforts. now every country is watching her own interests and cooperation level is minimum
13 ON STSTE ACTORS ROLE
Jihadi groups were in full coordination with pak .now pak is fighting against them
14. SOCIAL FABRIC OF PAK & USA
Globalization has impact on both societies and several cultural confusions are there
15. CHINA FACTOR
Now CHINA factor has become more imp for USA
16. REGIONAL STABILITY
Now iranian nuclear issue has added a new strategic dimension in regional politics of south asia
