Developing Minds, Developing Worlds?
A topical informative piece depicting, bringing to awareness and questioning our – the peoples – “position” on this planet. How we see ourselves, as now an to the future. What those aspirations are doing will possibly do and what could be changed. Many psychological issues to link between our survival and the survival of our Earth….
I wrote it in the complex manner I have because it is as we know an incredibly complex subject, I envisage that any interpretation woud also be one of complexity – a topic of life you may never fully understand but always marvel with….
Developing World? Developing Minds?
The world has been developing, as we know, for staggeringly billions of years – as all historians and those with curious unsettled minds searching for the answers ‘where did we come from’ people know – ‘our world’ (human’s time on this world) has had far less of an equivalent, or even considerable, fractional time developing a survival.
The geologists have their theories, somewhat persuasive but feared (like all statement theories from great minds) that the evolvement of the worlds’, the earths’, ‘development’ is going in some sort of a direction or purposeful growth if you will, one that is shifting and even transforming into a shape of better a survival, of more ‘comfortable living’ for itself.
With this profound statement and the ‘back up’ company of naturalists and conservatives they argue we’re (us humans) are choking and suffocating the life out of it, a place that we have been and still are trying to find and adapt to for our own survival, our own way of living; by finding this in the dominating way we are, we’re destroying it – and because of our chosen ignorance and disbelief – we will go down with it?
In retrospect to the life span of the world we’re living on – we have been living our world for a very short time, short enough to maybe argue that we, ourselves still have the ‘growing time’. Time to grow, Yes, but not using that as the excuse for chosen ignorance and being responsible for creating a world of fragility. Some would argue that that isn’t a state of prospective development or living survival at all, but one of tormented disintegration – a state of psyche that has the potential and capable traits of the evil we’re up against.
We all have the careless advantage of making mistakes, an advantage taken for granted of protection through governmental law, banks or from the consolable rest of a shoulder. The state of the earth needs that, in a similar sense, but of course on a matching scale to itself, from us. The only species in aware and in capability.
Being fragile – A word that our interpretations translate to being; delicate, weak or even frail, or possibly – vulnerable. Thinking of the meaning of these words and the link they supposedly have with defining the state of our Earth – looking at our Earth – It doesn’t appear at first light as one of crumbling frailty but one that still has the potential to thrive. And to extend our acknowledgment further past our own atmosphere the earth (maybe not its inhabitants) but the earth has survived more battering than spaces version of cricket.
Vulnerable maybe, existing as it is developing – so then – isn’t everything vulnerable in its growth.
Worlds (be it the one we’re living in or living for) are something that will be forever growing. Does this mean they are forever vulnerable? No matter if that life crumbles, however hard, severe, fast or often that may be, as long as we’re still breathing we have the chances and capabilities of saving lives and lifting their prospects back up. Not just that of our own either….
