Do You Think Todays Famous People Good Role Models for Our Young Kids?

Do you think today’s famous people are good example of role models? Do you think our young people follow their examples?  Role model are different kind of people with different characteristics and qualities, who tries to do better and doesn’t give up and helps motivate others to follow their pattern. But today’s famous people are bad examples of role models. Lots of young people think that famous people are good role models because they are rich, and have a wonderful life, so by following them will make others succeed too. But in reality they do lots of crimes and other bad thing. Lots of today’s famous people do drugs, smoke and some don’t understand true love.

Famous people were once just like us and had a normal life, but when they noticed their talents and decided to used their talents to make millions of dollars, they got rich and slowly they got tired of their daily lives and decided to make life more enjoyable by using drugs or others for achieving their goals. For example, Maradona was one of the greatest soccer players in the world, he decided to use drugs just because he wanted to be better and more famous, but he end up losing his career. Therefore for someone that its famous role model is using drugs, will make their lives more difficult and might cause them health problems.

Did you know that more than 25% of smokers started to smoke because their role models were smoking too? More than 25 % of people started smoking because their role models were smoking on the movies scene or in their daily lives. When young people watches their role model smoking, the youngsters will think they should smoke too because their famous role models are smoking and that is why they are famous and cool, so the others decides to smoke too, just to look cool and become famous. Therefore famous people are not good role models because they might change someone else’s live and would end up having negative results.

Many famous people don’t understand true love. They marry someone and after a year or less they get divorce because their love is gone and goes on to someone else. This is a bad example of role model because it modifies other people or families to problems and conflicts. People will think if their role models can cheat on their wife or husband why can’t they do it too. For example, Tiger Woods the greatest and richest golfer in the world cheated on his wife and got caught and was all around the news.  It would affect our youngsters by not loving their loving once because he was their role model.

Most of famous people in the world these days are not good role models; they affect people’s lives in many ways, through physical, mental and other negative things. Therefore I believe today’s famous people are bad example of role models to follow because they might get you to negative side effects such as drugs, smoking and might cause problems between your families and be loving once.
