Does everything happen for a reason?

Whats your opinion? Does everything happen for a reason?

Everyone has probably gone through something hoping that ‘everything happens for a reason’. No matter if it’s someone that has gone through a hard time, or someone that had something great happen to them.

What do you believe??

I believe that everything happens for a reason, and no matter if it’s a hard time or a great time, that you should just except what happened because you can’t go back and change it. For example: some people have hard times in their relationships. But from my experience it can do 1 of 2 things: Make the relationship stronger, or rip it apart. If you can’t make it through the hard times with the person that you are with, then maybe it’s not meant to be. If you can make it, just think how easy the great times will be.

With my relationship I have been through really hard times, and my experience only made the relationship stronger. And when things are going good, everything seems that much easier.

So what is your experience? What do you think? Have your hard times made your relationship stronger? This includes friends, family, boyfriend/girlfriend, wife/husband.

While I do believe everything does happen for a reason … and I believe it happens because thats what god wanted to happen. I believe that everything that happens to you is supposed to maybe happen. Im not really sure. Tonight I feel really weird and Ive been thinking about a lot. So I went to yahoo and searched does everything happen for a reason. That was after I blogged on myspace.

and I put … Does everythng really happen for a reason … or do we simply give reasons for why things happen to us!! Which is it… Ive always believe that things do happen for a reason … but for some strange reason my mind is shifting tonight. I need sleep … Goodnight all

The question people usually answer instead of the actual question is ‘does everything that happens have significance?’ I don’t believe that everything that happens has a reason behind it. For example, if someone goes insane and decides to kill someone. What is the reason for that? One doesn’t exist. Things can randomly happen, to no ones fault and without reason at all. But no, that doesn’t mean these things don’t have significance.

    everything happens for a reason… that’s always true…
But does the reason matter? My answer would be not all the time… sometimes, maybe…

that is simple…reason can’t justify the fact.

I dont really know what to believe? dont you make your own fate? why do things test us and make us feel very alone?
dont really know what to believe? is it true you get two paths in your life and you get the final decision or was it always meant to be that way the decision? I just dont know?

We hope that everything happens for a reason and there is a higher power potecting us. Being Humans we rationalize everything and when we can’t find the answers to what we want we believe that there will be an answer. With my personal heart break and tough relationship I have come to change my perception. We reap what we soe. Why do we have to be tested? If we have lived a good life doing the right thing by the book, what lesson is ther to be learnt by meeting a Jurk and going through hard ships. No that is uncalled for. The liars, cheaters adn womanisers prospers crushing the innocent that cross their path adn there is no reason for the innocent to have suffered due tho their innocence. It is a questionable and touchy subject that can only be answered by your personal experience.

I’m a true believer in everything happens for a reason, although at times something bad happens, so in turn I question my own belief. But i have realized when you look at the small pictures and/or what’s just going on in the moment, it may seem like there’s absolutely no reason for what is happening….your life could have done with out. But when you look at the big picture you should realize that in the grand scheme of things that there really was a reason for that to happen.

    Everything happens for a reason?

Then why did God want my sister to be carjacked and set alight.. for 50 dollars, and that the attacker never to be found, then a few months later she finds a tumor in her ovaries and is never able to have children. everything does not happen for a reason

Maybe we believe that thing happen for a reason because we are affraid to face this wild, dangerous and unfair universe. No reason in nature, just try to survive dude ;)

Yes, everything does happen for a reason. In the short run you won’t see it, but in the long run you will. Like the people who come in and out of our lives. They change our paths in which we go down. Count the number of what ifs in our lives, but due to the people we come across those what ifs never happened.

Everything does happen for a reason. The reason is that the universe is random. Life is chaos. Unfortunately, some people can’t cope with that reality and make up banal platitudes to recite like some kind of mantra. Stand up on your own two feet, throw away the crutches, make your own future and take responsibility for your own actions.

I was thinking tonight about why things happened to me.. It seems that everything goes wrong in my life… I was bummed… Actually I was very depressed… Then I had a light bulb moment… Suddenly a light went off, and I realized that maybe I had been looking in the wrong direction.. I mean I am not a religious kinda person, nor do I believe that god is the sole one… But I have to admit that I had a real thought tonight… All my life has been trial and crap… every step of my life has had trouble and I wondered why… I wondered and wondered, and never could seem to put my finger on what or why I was meant to be… then I was talking to a friend of mine and she told me she had a cancer tumor on her kidney… And boom the light went off… I am good at people, good at just talking to and being a friend to people… Now I get it. I think I am supposed to be a friend to people in trouble, and unless I had all the trouble in my life I would of never understood why… it was my destiny to bear problems and be subject to ridicule so that I might be able to understand someone elses pain, or trouble… it has to be … because I just missed it I didnt get it.. until now… thank you who ever you are and or what ever you are for letting me see my purpose I know now what I need to do….

I totally agree that everything does happen for a reason. I have been through the worst and had many good and bad experiences. I dnt think we realise this when we are young, atleast not until we cross our 30s. Today when i have nothing to work for or worry about and I know myself, I sat and gone through all my up and down. they all connect and Its clear.Everything took place to make me, the person sitting and thinking wisely what life has given me until i saw myself in the mirror. Bad things gives us strength and good things memories to cherish or some might say to compensate the bad…

What could be the reason for after 20 years running into an old boyfriend and then three weeks later finding out he died suddenly from a heart attack? Can’t get it out of my mind for some reason
