Does Pornography Benefit Society?

Research on pornography pertaining to American society.

Pornography is such a big industry; so big that children are in the industry.  The child pornography industry is not the only ones that abuse the children. Child molesters are also culprits.  The sexual abuse of children(Taylor &Quayle, 2003) now needs government attention as a social major problem.  Even though it has been shown that there is no definitive connection of pornography and sexual crimes, there are a few molesters that admitted to use porn (York & LaRue, 2002) to fuel their desires before acting out their fantasies on children.

While researching, there were no definitive meaning of pornography.  Pornography and the underlying morals itself varies from culture to culture, society to society.  American culture is such a paradox in terms of virtue, character, and morality.  People want to be healthy, but they eat fast food.  People would want to help the environment, but global warming is on the rise. So why can’t this also go for pornography?
