Dress Code

               Today I was talking to my little brother and was told the school had attempted to ban hoodies. Now I myself having gone to that school and we knew what was going on in the school more than the teachers in the school know that hoodies are essential to most students. The people attempting to ban the hoodies are claiming it allows students to hide drugs and hide weapons much easier. Now Our school is in no way known for having weapons in school. Never has it happened to the knowledge of anyone. Drugs well they will be in any school as long as they are around. If hoodies are banned they will keep them in their pockets or their boxers. I have seen most hiding places used and hoodies is never one of them. To easy to lose.

Hoodies are the growing fashion statement in  our school. Everyone wears one at some point in school. I am sure else where it is the same way. I do not know this for fact but I am sure. But this seems very ridicules to attempt to ban these cloths. They give no harm to anyone and there are far better places to hide things. I realize that there is a new super intendent and he is trying to bring change and be proactive but there are many more hiding places. I want people’s opinion on whether or not they believe this is right. So give your comment please to continue this on. No slandering other people please.
