Drug Addiction Does Not Die of Ignorance and Fear
Man capable of highest dignity is also capable of the foulest degradation. He is fast losing his soul. He is committing the ultimate crime: destroying human life with the same instrument to save life: DRUGS.
Drug addiction is centuries old, but it is always new with time, and without change we can see a holocaust that will move on through time– each generation begotten in chain carrying with it its own germ of destruction. At risk is the most productive of human resources: the YOUTH.
Do our leaders know but cannot cope with the problem? Or, have they only wished and waited? It is at this point when the drug pusher opens his bag. His goal can kill or paralyze the values of many generations. Without mercy for victims living or dead, he imposes his law .
Do we blame science and technology? Scientific discovery is neutral. Science in fact has no defense against the forces that corrupt civilization. Drugs are at man’s disposal.
We live in a world of drug hypnosis. We consume drugs as if happiness or health could be bought from the pusher or from the drugstore. Man is a liar, a self deceiver. He is the only living creature that lies to himself and to others. As long as pusher and user are one, efforts at complete extinction of drug addiction will remain a halfway measure. Drug addiction does not die of ignorance and fear. It is a tragic mistake.###

Drugs are too seductive and are becoming too accepted in society. A mistake indeed and sad that people who use them can not be happy without them.

Drug addiction is a disease. You can find yourself at this crossroad without even knowing it. It is best to not start, but for some, it is too late. For those who are addicted, get help. You have to have a complete program in order to be successful.
