Dying to be perfect……….

Our World is made up all of types of people.  This is what makes the World go around.  If we all looked the same, acted the same, etc., the World would be a very boring place.

Alas that said, there are a lot of people who cannot accept who they are.  They resort by having cosmetic surgery done, going on crazy diets, developing eating disorders, etc.

Unfortunately, nowadays, society is extremely hard on people especially women.  So much is expected of them.  For them to look a certain way, act a certain way, etc., instead of seeing what they naturally have.  All of us are beautiful in our own natural way.  To me, an ugly person does not exist.  The word ugly to me is the way people act, this is what makes a person ugly….their bad and rude attitude.  The egotistical ones fall into this category as well.  To me, if you think you are better than anybody else or your “you know what” doesn’t stink, you fall into the ugly category as well.

It’s amazing how I turn on the TV everyday and see these talk shows like Oprah or Dr. Phil, the different topics that are aired on their shows.  Dr. Phil has a show coming on this week, today as a matter of fact, about Cosmetic Surgery Gone Wrong.  The sad part about it is that they are showing very young people having cosmetic surgery.  To me, unless you have been in a bad accident, you’re disfigured, etc., I can see someone getting cosmetic surgery.  This is a necessity.  Now, if you’re getting cosmetic surgery to look better, etc., then that’s where I draw the line.  Now, here’s another situation, a woman who is completely flat chested.  Okay.  Now, I can see where cosmetic surgery is a necessity there.  Yet, you have a lot of folks, mostly women, who are getting cosmetic surgery to make themselves look perfect!  God did not intend for any of us to be perfect.  It’s not meant to be, we are born with flaws and we will die with flaws.  There’s no such thing as perfect, get over it everybody!  Grow up!

The cost of cosmetic surgery is enough even to make me run for the hills!  Yikes!  Holy cow!  Plus, look at how many folks, particularly women, who have had majorly botched up surgery.  Then you have the ones that one time is just not enough, they want more and more and more!  So they keep going back for more surgery, get more in debt.  Then by the time is all said and done, they are knee deep in debt and they look hideous and unhuman like.  This is called addiction to cosmetic surgery.  Women want to look like Barbie, the doll!  Again, God did not intend for us to look perfect.  Furthermore, to look like Barbie….the doll!
