Dying Unnoticed

US casualties go unreported by mainstream media.

The phony withdrawal of combat troops from Iraq, which was not a withdrawal at all, since there are still 50,000 US soldiers still fighting there, has seen a shutdown of reporting casualties in Iraq, and an almost total blackout on reporting the casualties in Afghanistan.

These young people are still being blown up and shot, but the US government, knowing that both of these wars are unpopular with Americans, are keeping a lid on the numbers.

The only people keeping track outside the government are the families and friends of the wounded and killed, who cry quietly beyond the vision of TV cameras.
