Educating a Child

As is the childhood so is the life.

EDUCATING THE CHILDREN
As is the childhood so is the life. Often as adults they attribute their success for the formation received at home and at school. The reason for the success in life may be is attributed to the means that the child had . The rich children get everything what need and what they wish. The poor children are mortified for not having the means to get what they need and what they want.
Even then the inner talents of the children are not subject to the means that they have. Some children may be genius in their IQ. But if the proper guidance and formation be lacking the child can turn out to be a delinquent. If one analyzes the causes for the juvenile delinquency often it has been discovered that the parents had spoiled them by conceding their capricious wants and not supplying them sufficient exercise to develop their talents.
Many have narrated their success stories. Even though some had lived in utter poverty, and had studied by begging help and learning the lessons under the street lights, they could stand first in the whole school . It is due to the accompaniment of the parents and their guidance.
The children need to be loved by their parents teachers and relatives. The child adopts much from the teachers, parents and the peer groups. In every epoch one can notice that children like hero worship. They do not go to judge right or wrong but they appreciate their hero’s adventures. If the hero is negative the adolescent boy tries to imitate exactly the attributes or the qualities of that hero without analyzing what is really good and what is really harmful.
The teenage is very delicate stage of life. Children necessarily need guidance and counseling. The qualities which they appreciate are to be directed towards the noble goal. Some schools arrange psychological counseling for the students. But their guidance alone is not sufficient. The child needs the care of his parents, siblings, friends and teachers.
There is a statement – “ Tell me who your friend is and I shall tell you who you are” !!. By observing the company or the friends of a student we can predict the personality of a student.
Motivation makes miracles. It is very necessary to motivate the child and guide him to set the goals and the objectives. He should be helped to set his priorities and be guided how to realize them
