Embryonic Stem Cell Controversy

tissue engineering stem cells has provided a new and improved treatment of disease and illness.  Stem cells have the unique ability to transform into any type of human cell.  The science of stem cell research has unfortunately met with considerable disagreement in how the cells will be harvested.  The controversy stems from the fact that these cells are often obtained through abortions and discarded IVF embryos.

It was a stop-funded research on stem cells in the United States.  But from this sentence, the new scientific knowledge that is denied the use of embryonic stem cells.  Scientists have discovered that stem cells found in fat tissue of adult humans.

Adult stem cells in tissue engineering

This development has created a scientific community with many opportunities.  The discovery was made at the David Geffen School of Medicine, University of California and Henry Samueli School of Engineering.  Researchers in these institutions have taken stem cells from adipose tissue in adults, and was able to transform into smooth muscle cells, which are necessary in the human body in many areas.

Since these researchers were able to perform this task, I hope we can do much more with these cells in the future.  The researchers are confident that you can get stem cell research without the controversy associated with it.
Benefits of adult stem cells

Stem cells taken from human adipose tissue behave exactly as smooth muscle cells due.  These stem cells are actually a better solution to the illness of embryonic stem cells.  This is because these cells are taken from the body to repair, so there is no option to reject the cells.  Researchers were also able to program the cells of smooth muscle cells in the brain and bone marrow, but stem cells are found in fatty tissue of humans is much more useful.

Scientists are confident that this discovery was not just an isolated incident.  Tested adult stem cells from adipose tissue that time several years now and still get the same results.  Since these researchers were able to perform this task, they hope to do much more with these cells in the future.
