Enter The Mind of The One Being Bullied

Let us find out what is running on the mind of the person who experience being bullied.

Some person who experience being bullied either emerge as a survivor while some just fall out as a victim because they could not bear the hurt and pain experiences from the hands of the bully. The embarrassment and shame getting worst the more exposure to the whole gang of bullies everyday is like walking on a cross getting nail like leading a path to Calvary. Read some thoughts from the mind of the person being bullied.

1.    I do not deserve to be bullied

Bullies were made up of many people either close to me, from school classmates up to groups of strangers. The first time I learn to play with my sibling, cousins and other peers. I always like to play and explore different games. I like to emerge as the winner it always comes to my mind to be the first and not the second best. But all my dreams shatter and fail. Some fellow are just so strong they always come out as a winner and never ever give me a chance to establish my own mark. So it drives me to feel lonely and alone most of the times.  There is truth in the adage the world becomes so full of decent people who have barbaric attitudes, only the strong survives like in the battle of the fittest. This is only how I feel for many years and thinking that I could not make my own way to satisfy myself. I almost isolate myself from the rest of to create my own world.

2.    I am being bullied for being over achiever

I hate being bullied and my own failure to fight back drives me almost too insane state of mind. I am a peaceful human, kind, respectful and always got a mark grade A in my class. Most of the time I am the role model of the class a good student in other word. My parents are very proud of me for being a good abiding daughter or son and love being at peace with myself. I almost excel I all subjects be it academic or curricular. I am a book worm most of the time and spend most of the time in the corner of the library either studying my lesson or doing my assignment/research term paper. I am almost perfect. What lacking of me is my emotional balance? I hate to say but despite of my intelligence and other see me as the luckiest person who have all the beauty, brain, smart and intelligence.  Yet, behind those accolade and recognition, I often find myself alone and my depressed state even becomes worst when a group of jealous and insecure bully comes to notice me. At first I would not mind them and keep my own business. But it comes to my worst nightmare that I am starting to lose my rights to privacy. Those bullies dig up anything they could find to make me angry or mad at them. They always make a plan to tarnish my clean decent images/reputation which I painfully built up through out the years. Yet in a sudden they make fun of me; vandalize my names then write some hurting words which deeply affect my normal life.

no one likes being bullied. it is ugly and makes going to school very hard for many kids. it’s good that many schools are doing something about it.

Bullying makes one retreat and become insular. As Guns & Roses said: Welcome to the jungle. It’s scary out there and getting scarier. Thank you Aileen for reminding me of this dilemma.

That is why it is better not to pay much attention to bully as the more they are feed, the more they seek attention..thank you for your comment ;-)
