Eric Holder Changes Story…………again

Once Attorney General Eric Holder learned that the GOP wanted a special prosecutor to investigate whether or not he lied to Congress, his story is changing.

Eric Holder now says that he did not understand the questions about Fast and Furious that was asked of him yesterday by the Judicial Committee. If the Attorney General of the United States answers questions that he does not understand, then he should not even hold the office of Magistrate for a small community of less than 500 people in population.

This is just one more of the attempts of the Obama Administration to lie to the American public hoping that they will buy the goods of a lying member of the Administration in the attempt to make the citizens of the United States look really stupid. If the Attorney General of the United States cannot be honest in his answers to committees of Congress and Congress itself, then he surely does not deserve the job. Hello Democrats, like myself. He is making you look stupid and you have an election to go through but he doesn’t.

Rep. Darrel Issa R-Calif) demanded today that Holder at least come forward and admit that he knew about Fast and Furious before Congress had learned about it. Issa insisted that Holder “had to know” about Fast and Furious because he got weekly briefings of the program. Issa cited seven separate memos that Holder received about the program and the individuals under Holder were directly involved. Come on Eric. You got caught so admit it. “We The People” are not being stupid anymore.

Holder has had a past of misleading members of Congress. Holder may have hidden information about briefs that he had written during his investigation to become Attorney General. He hid his views on the war on terrorism. The GOP asked questions early on about why attorneys that did work for terror detainees had jobs at the Justice Department. Holder’s colleagues defended terrorist detained at ‘Gitmo.’

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Patrick Leahey, failed to take action against members hiding information on Holder and failed to take action against Holder himself. Leahey had his own problems about honesty as far back as the “Cold War” days. This is exactly what we are talking about. People who lie to the American people can get away with anything because “We The People” are ignorant and believe whatever a politician tells us.

Members of the GOP have been very careful not to call Holder a “Liar,” but I will. They are bending over backwards to get Holder to provide them with an honest account of what happened. The best plans fail at some time and doing what a person feels right accounts for a lot even when it does go south. “We The People” understand that things go wrong with some plans and good intentions does not always get forgiven, but we can understand it. But I cannot forgive someone for looking at members of Congress in the eye and try to lie to them or the American people.
