Euthanasia, the painless killing of a human or animal because of extreme medical measures or a painful disease or condition. There are many different opinions about the use of…mercy killing. My opinion is that if someone is in true misery and they believe it is better for them to die quickly then suffer the rest of their life in bad condition, it wouldn’t be completely wrong. I just wouldn’t be the one killing because to me that’s a crime, if not a crime I would go the rest of my life hating myself knowing I have killed a soul. But I do agree with Carlson’s action. That dog really looked like it was in misery and was better of dead, at least it would rest. Euthanasia should definitely not be used on humans, for humans can heal and regain to their original for. But for animals, if it will make them feel better…why not?
