Evils of Abortion

Abortion is a sinful, immoral, illegal and deleterious act. It’s a menace to Womanhood and its committed daily by young unmarried girls and some married women in the society.
The young girls takes it as the only alternative to salvage the situation of unwanted pregnancies they got from their youthful exuberance to save their face of shame. But married women take to abortion when she has had proposed number of children when she got impregnated by another man through extra marital affairs, she take to abortion as the only option in other to avert the scandals.
Pregnancy is a pre-condition for abortion to be carried out. Unwanted pregnancies happen as a result of unprotected sex, lack of sex education, lack of proper parental care and teenager involvement in sex.
Abortion has a lot of evils which the perpetrators of this illicit act are oblivious of. It has immediate and long term effect; the immediate effect is either excessive bleeding as a result of being handled by a quack doctor or death due to loss of blood. While the long term effects are thus; acquisition of diseases and infections, loss of womb, childlessness etc.
Conclusively, a campaign should be pulled up to educate teenagers, young unmarried girls and married women on the dangers of abortions. Abortion laws aimed at curbing the rate of abortion crimes in the society should be enacted.
I must also add that a more permanent solution would be achievable if parents would take proper care in bringing up their children.

I do think this article is a bit prejudged. Personally I understand the anti-abortion view, but I see a lot of condemnation here, but no focus on the reason why women would go for an abortion. Just a black and white view but no gray in between.
Never thought about morals of when pregnancies become life threatening to the mother and also to the baby? What if sacrificing the child is the only way to save her or else both may die.
Illegal abortions that are done by none medical trained people may cause the damage that you state here.
On the other hand legalising abortion in my country might have saved the lives of many women and teenage girls that got pregnant unwanted.
I do agree that our society needs a better sexual education and moral and that contraception is better than abortion, but not all unwanted pregnancies are a result of uncareful sex.
What about rape victims?
I think just condemning abortion without proper arguments is not a big essay.

I am personally an anti-abortion person, but I think I can understand if some parents or women choose abortion due to medical reason.

Amber brought up all of the usual arguments given as reasons to legalize abortion, but these only account for less than 1% of abotions that are done in America. Once abortion was allowed for legitimate reasons, it was a very slippery slope until it was allowed for any reason.
