Exploitation of the American Worker

Why working isn’t as simple or easy as it used to be. How American companies are getting away with murder on U.S. soil.

Today more than ever we are seeing the rise of reverse discrimination in American Corporations as well as in government where the rights of White Employees are taking a back seat to African American and Hispanic counterparts. We have entered an age where minorities are making up the majority for most employers and management because of the color of their skin and they are willing to be paid less for the same job. Too often, those who are less qualified are being hired to fill racial quotas that aren’t satisfied by white employees. In today’s tough job market this is making employment almost impossible for the white male or female who still needs to feed their family.

What does all this say about America? It sends the wrong message to companies who think they are above the law and can do whatever they want or else take jobs oversee’s. It takes us back in time before Labor Laws, before Labor Unions, before the Constitution, and before slavery. We need to do away with “Right to Work” policies that give employers all the rights and leave employees vulnerable to exploitation. We need to do away with all employer quotas and give equality back to the workers.

We need to ban together and fight for tougher labor laws as well increased Labor Union involvement that protect our rights from big corporations or state governments that are more concerned with profits and elections. We all need stand together for Truth, Justice, and our Inalienable Right to work in our field of choice without fear or exploitation toward the American Dream.

I couldn’t agree more. With the combination of employers who take advantage of every loophole they can create, a nearly dead economy from an eight year stretch of unsupervised debauchery in government, a shrinking dollar in the global economy, and the veritable elimination of “job security”, it is no wonder that the American worker is so jaded.

    Boffo, Faith09! Fabulous exposition!

I agree completely. With every passing year, I feel more exploited by my employer, for all the reasons cited in the article. (Author: In the penultimate paragraph, “oversee’s” should be “overseas.”)

I mostly agree, but sorry, I feel that quotas insure a certain level of fairness to everybody so that one segment alone gets all the advantages. People hate quotas because they can’t find a way to get around the Justice it enforces.
