Fashion 101: The Beige Nine West Purse

I bought two very stylish, very different purses from DAV Thrift Store in Westland, Michigan.  When I saw this one particular purse, it just looked familiar to me.  This bag has a different color and design and slightly larger than a previous bag.  The first thing I checked was the zipper.  It’s much stronger than its predecessor.  Second thing I checked was the name.  When I opened it up, I wasn’t totally surprised.  It just confirmed my suspicions.  It is indeed a Nine West purse.  I checked the price and it was reasonable ($1.98).  I just knew I had to have it.  The inside is classic Nine West.  Has a much larger zippered compartment.  Across from it, are two open pockets—one small enough for a small cell phone or a tube of L.A. Colors Rose Petals lip gloss.  The larger of the two pockets can hold a small calculator, MP3 player and sticky notes, just to name a few.  I couldn’t imagine fitting all my junk, including my beige wallet, but it all fits.  And once my junk was all in there, the purse stands on its own.  I love the adjustable handle.  Oh, and last but not least is the outside zippered pocket big enough for a second cell phone or cab or bus fare.  Overall, I can see myself carrying this purse on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.  I’ll give it a break on Tuesday s, Thursday s, and the weekends.  I have a digital camera, but I don’t have a computer yet, so, I can’t take a picture of my prize.  The “powers-that-be” told me to save up money to buy a computer.  So, there you go.  I have to write long hand.  Enough about my plight.  If you see a beige Nine West purse with squares linked together, pick it up quickly no matter the price.
