Fatal Attraction It Can Happen to You!

A real life story of a brief encounter with a woman who turns out to be obsessive and perhaps mentally unstable!

Fatal attraction it can happen to you!

Fatal Attraction was a hugely successful film made in 1987, the film was nominated for six Academy awards. The film stars Michael Douglas and Glenn Close. The premise of the film is that Michael Douglas has a sexual affair with Glenn Close. Michael is married with one child in a seemingly happy marriage. Then along comes Glenn Close who is an attractive single woman.

A weekend affair happens when Michael’s wife Beth goes away for the weekend. Michael’s character Dan for what ever reason takes the opportunity to have a sexual affair with his co-worker called Alex played by Glenn Close. At the end of the steamy encounter Alex does not want Dan to leave her and go back to his wife. Alex tries to cut her wrists in an attempt to force Dan to stay. The story spirals into deeper and deeper stalking by Alex which culminates in Alex being shot and killed by Beth Dan’s wife. This film also sported the phrase “Bunny Boiler” which refers to Alex boiling Dan’s daughters Rabbit!

My tale today is a real life story of how a sexual encounter can be very dangerous if both parties do not state what they want from an affair to begin with also see,

The encounter began circa 1996 I was out with friends on a Friday night, we had decided to go night clubbing. My friends and I were around 30 years old. I was single and a divorcee and living on my own in a bachelor apartment in London. There was approximately six of us out for what some people would call ’A stag night’ to us it was just another Friday night, we often went night clubbing.

Around halfway through the evening I bumped into an attractive woman (I will call her June its not her real name for obvious reasons I will keep that a secret) We chatted for a while we had several dances together and the evening was going well. At close of play in the night club it was approximately 2.30am. I asked the inevitable and standard question,

“Would you like to come back to my apartment for a coffee?”

No, I don’t boil rabbits. They are better in a casserole.

Let this be a lesson to be careful before you go putting your dipstick in strangers sumps!

My experience with a stalker did not begin with a one night stand but she was married and I couldn’t get rid of her. Well, finally she gave up. I can relate.

I really enjoyed reading this from the beginning to the end. It’s a jungle out there! With women, the more you reject them, the more they stick around. The fact that she didn’t tell you that she was married is a bad sign already. Maybe her man was out of town or something was definitely not right in her relationship making her act desperate and clingy. Men don’t like to be pursued nor chased. Good thing that you decided to cut off all contact with her. I think she felt rejected by you and as a result, it caused her to act like this. For a lot of women, rejection is a very personal thing. Perhaps, if you would have paid attention to her from the beginning she would have blown you off, but the fact that you did what you did and took a firm stand actually made her obsess over you….. LOL

Wow, we can’t make-up stories as great as our life can give us. Glad you did better than the movie.

Ah yes, truth is stranger, and creepier, than fiction. This was a terrific read.

Creepy! Glad I only slept with the woman I married. My conscience is clear and I don’t have to watch by back.

Wow, this was a good read! It must have been scary for you. It’s good it ended well, but it could have gotten worse. Like what if June really camped out of your doorstep? What lesson did you learn from this? (Probably–Never take one night stands to my house. LOL)

That was a great story you have told, I found it interesting but felt sorry for you. Talk about bad luck a one night stand is exactly that as a rule, this was not.
